I wasn't kidding when I said July would move fast in the last email. We're almost halfway through the month and I'm still catching my breath. Let me sum it up for you, not because you need my play by play, but because I bet your July has had its own version of these waves. Same current, different boat. 🌊

🪐 Mercury Retrograde: Slow Down, Don't Panic

Yes, Mercury is retrograde. No, that doesn't mean you cancel your house closing or contracts. If you've got a contract to sign, just get two sets of eyes on it and communicate clearly about who's expecting what. I've closed plenty of deals during retrograde that worked out great. This is a season for slowing down, not stopping.

🎆 This July 4th: the day of the Jens.

This year I went solo to a home party at my friend. Different from past years, and that's the point, every year doesn't have to look the same. Some years are big parties, some are quiet, some are just you and a tent. All of them count. ⛺

Earlier that week, I'd texted Jen about accountability goals. Mine was $1,000 for rent. She surprised me by prepaying $600 for a space clearing for future sellers and buyers with her real estate business. She had just closed on a home and wanted me to make my goal. 😍🤩🤑 I was beyond stocked and grateful.

Then I dog-sat for another Jen so she could go see Ed Sheeran in concert.

While dog-sitting, I started watching Avatar: The Last Airbender (the new Netflix version, not the cartoon). Bella has been begging me to watch it for years.

I told myself I'd watch one episode. I watched 3.25 back to back, then got Netflix the second I got home. 😅 It's got Game of Thrones energy but family-friendly, and it's woven with Chinese medicine elements throughout. ✈️ The Trip My Soul Wouldn't Let Me Skip

Bella's Magic Camp got cancelled last minute due to low signup Thursday July 2. The next day, my friend Meghan invited me to Heartwood Co Housing near Durango, a trip that's been on my list for eight years. 🏔️

Part of me said stay home, you need to work, plan our July and August. Another part said take the damn trip. Every time I've listened to that second voice, I've come back more creative and clearer. So we went. Eight hours in the car (Claude helped me map rest stops in Salida and Pagosa, because six hours straight is not happening), and we watched Avatar the whole way. Bella and I have officially declared ourselves Space Benders, and we made a video about it.

🍵 Tea Ceremonies & the July Portal

At Heartwood, I held two tea ceremonies on July 7th and 8th, right during the July portal. The people who showed up were exactly who needed to, and I walked away with answers around health and prosperity. 🌑 New Moon: July 14th

Tuesday is the new moon, prime time for launching wishes and intentions. Bella and I have "womanfested" a lot around new moons, it doesn't happen instantly, but it clears the runway.
