๐ Denver Area Fireworks Guide
Here's where to catch the show this year! A heads-up: some areas are under fire restrictions due to drought, so always check local sites before you head out.

Multiple big shows planned including displays at Coors Field, Empower Field, and Dick's Sporting Goods Park. Note: within the City and County of Denver, all fireworks ~ including sparklers ~ are prohibited for personal use.

Lakewood hosts the "Big Belmar Bash" on July 3 starting at 5 p.m., with a drone light show slated to start at 9:15 p.m. A spectacular drone show featuring 250 drones lighting the skies with a variety of colors and designs ~ free to attend!
๐ก Highlands Ranchโ
Fireworks will be launched around 9:30 p.m. at Highland Heritage Regional Park ~ weather and fire restrictions permitting. Bring your blanket, consider ridesharing (parking is limited), and enjoy locally made food-truck fare or pack your own picnic.
โฐ๏ธ Evergreen / Jefferson County Areaโ
Check your local listings ~ Jefferson County communities often have neighborhood celebrations. Watch for updates from the Jefferson County website as conditions can shift closer to the date.
๐ Boulderโ
There's no official public fireworks display scheduled in Boulder for the Fourth of July after the city permanently canceled its traditional Folsom Field event. However, nearby Coal Creek Golf Course hosts a celebration starting at 6 p.m. with fireworks at 9:30 p.m. at 585 W. Dillon Road ~ a great alternative close by!

July 4th is more than cookouts and fireworks ~ it's the anniversary of one of the boldest acts of collective courage in history. On this day in 1776, a group of visionaries declared independence not just from a government, but from the belief that freedom was something to be granted rather than claimed. That spirit of trusting yourself enough to take a leap into the unknown? It still lives in each of us.

Speaking of independence...I had a funny little moment recently at the Jefferson County Courthouse while renewing my tags. There was a bench with Jefferson sitting on it, and I just had to stop and take it in. I did a little video right there on the messages that Jefferson wants to pass down to us.
Here are two short videos I created from that moment. I hope they move you. And remember this: no matter what you say, you will always say it to the right person. You don't have to know everything ~ you just have to trust, TRUST that you know!
